Description
New Incoming Miramar Students-Join us for Super Saturday!
Dates: March 22nd and April 12th (You will only need to attend one date)
Time: Check in at 9:00a.m
Event Start: 9:30am
Location: M-Building Math and Business.
Students who attend will directly receive help from our support services and counseling teams so they are prepared for their first semester with Miramar. Students and families are welcome! Parent/Guardian workshops will also be offered.
Miramar staff will support students with:
- College Application Completion
- San Diego Promise Application Completion
- Counseling Student Educational Planning (meet with a counselor to plan your classes!)- Must have a 10-digit ID number & completed the online orientation prior to event
- Financial Aid Application (FAFSA/Dream Act) Completion
- & Breakfast will be provided!
In order to register, students need to have the Miramar College New Student Application completed. In order to meet with a counselor, students must complete the student online orientation.
Space is limited.

Questions & Answers
The San Diego Promise is a two-year completion program that provides unparalleled access to community college education by removing financial barriers and providing wrap around support. The program provides up to two years of free tuition to eligible students. Participation in the Promise program comes with a variety of benefits: an assigned peer mentor, counseling retention & interventions, and additional campus engagement opportunities.
Yes, our Miramar Outreach Project Assistants will provide campus tours throughout the day.
