Description
AANHPI Horizons is a series of events and workshops tailored to our Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander students, faculty, and staff, hosted by the Miramar Promise & Retention Office in collaboration with the Pearl Program. Dedicated to creating a space where our AANHPI community can share their stories, network, and establish a sense of belonging on campus.

*Usually hosted during college hour (12:30pm-1:30pm) unless specified.
Spring Events:
Event #1: Spring Roll Social (Thursday, February 26th)- Participate in a social mixer at the K2-Welcome Center while enjoying spring rolls & egg rolls!
Event #2: Celebrating Women of Color: HerStory (Monday, March 9th)- In collaboration with different departments and offices across the campus, join us at K1-Student Services as we celebrate our women of color in the community!
- Event #3: Real Talk: Why Every Student Needs a Mentor (Thursday, April 9th)
- In search of a mentor? Learn ways to identify an AANHPI mentor and the benefits to having one at the K2-Welcome Center
- Event #4: End of Year Celebration (Wednesday, May 6th)
- An evening event starting at 5:30pm to highlight all the achievements of our AANHPI community at the I-Building!
